OB Street Fair & Chili Cook-Off
Sat, June 28, 2025Ocean Beach Street Fair & Chili Cook-Off Festival offers attendees eclectic fun in the sun for all ages. Tens of thousands of visitors will attend the Street Fair & Chili Cook-Off from 10 am to 8 pm on Saturday, June 28, 2025, for tasty festival nosh, art, beachfront entertainment, shopping, and more.
OB Kite Festival
Sat, May 17, 2025Join the Kiwanis for the Annual OB Kite Festival at Robb Field - Date TBA. Prizes for best-decorated kites, by age category. Spectacular kite flying demonstrations throughout the day. Carnival rides and a craft fair are also part of the event. This free family event is the oldest children’s kite festival in the United States, now celebrating its 7th decade. This is a third-generation event; people who attended as children are now bringing their children and grandchildren. Youngsters are taught how to make kites; all materials are supplied. There are prizes for the best-decorated kites. Any handmade kite can be submitted, not just kites made at the Festival. Entertainment and lunch are provided. Adding to the fun, families can go on carnival rides or browse for unique handicrafts at the craft fair.
OB Farmers Market
Wed, May 14, 2025Every Wednesday 4-8 pm on the 4900 block of Newport Ave. between Cable and Bacon Streets in Ocean Beach. The Ocean Beach Farmers Market will look a bit different. Think of it as a fresh-air grocery store with a focus on fresh fruits, vegetables, spreads, baked goods, honey, kombucha, flowers, and more! There will be a handful of artisan food vendors who will provide to-go food, which you may take home to enjoy.
OB Spring Clean-Up
Sat, May 17, 2025Join Ocean Beach MainStreet Association for a community clean-up focusing on the downtown Ocean Beach business district. Meet May 17th at Veterans Plaza Park at 10 am - Noon. Buckets, trash bags, and gloves will be provided. Bring a picker if you have one. They are always a handy tool for picking up small debris. Download the Flyer
Sunset Cliffs Auto Show
Sat, September 6, 2025Enjoy A family-friendly event the weekend after Labor Day! Cash Prize for Best Vehicle in Show!! All Show Vehicles are welcome! Cars, Trucks, and Motorcycles. Located along Point Loma Avenue where it intersects with Sunset Cliffs Blvd. There will be food, live music, free giveaways, and raffles.
