The Electric Chair is celebrating its 32nd anniversary next month. Opening in 1984 with a 3 chair salon Paul & Lynne Bolton moved next door to their present location in 1990 and soon added 15 more chairs. The iconic Electric Chair has been in business longer than any Salon in the history of Ocean Beach and wishes to thank the Community of Ocean Beach & the OBMA for all it’s support over the years. We also wish to thank the readers of Citybeat magazine for their support by voting us “Best Salon” in Citybeat’s annual readers poll for 8 straight years! With a new extended lease the Electric Chair will be here for many more years to come!!
