Drive Fore Diabetes Fundraiser - Sat., Sept. 20th @ The Loma Club
As most of you know, I have Type 2 Diabetes and every year I raise money for the American Diabetes Association Step Out Walk To Stop Diabetes. The money goes to fund local programs (For example, Camp Wannacura for Type 1 kids), educational efforts, & local research. The American Diabetes Association helps both Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetics, like myself.
This year, I am hosting a Golf Tournament on Saturday, September 20th where some of the proceeds will go towards my fundraising efforts! Our friend & colleague, Holly from Kennedy Golf, is helping me plan the event. And don't worry--You don't need to be an expert golfer; we're out there to have fun!
