In 1983 OB resident Dean Hall purchased Cheswicks West located at:
5038 ½ Newport Ave.On June 5th he opened for business and has graciously welcomed all for the past 30 years. Dean wanted to create a place for everyone, and that he has. Cheswicks has an eclectic blend of patrons ranging from; surfers, bikers, hippies, musicians, thespians, skaters, artists, blue and white collar workers and everyone in between.
Cheswicks is a place to socialize, celebrate, gather and rejuvenate with friends, truly a home away from home for all, even for many visitors that stop in to OB.
June 1st & 2nd Cheswicks will be celebrating it’s 30th Anniversary with roll back prices, guest bartenders and an 80’s themed Prom on Friday night.
