Hello, My name is Stevani Jajo with Miramar General Engineering, the City of San Diego Contractor. We are applying for a Moratorium Waiver with the City of San Diego for Sidewalk Replacement Group 1901 (K-20-1866-DBB-6). The Ocean Beach MainStreet Association celebrated the OB Vibe on Saturday, June 26, 2021 with a community event featuring local artisans & makers and spotlighting Ocean Beach’s local bars, breweries, restaurants, and retailers. This community event took place throughout the business districts in OB. The event encourages people to shop local and support OB businesses
COUNTY SMALL BUSINESS STIMULUS GRANT - NOW OPEN!
The County’s Small Business Stimulus Grant is now open and accepting applications! Any interested business can apply on the County’s website here: https://www.sandiegocounty.gov/content/sdc/stimulusgrant.html There are FAQs and application instructions on the website if anyone has questions.

The requirements necessary to run are: Must be an OBMA member in good standing. Must have served on one of OBMA's committees for at least one year. Will have time to devote to monthly board meetings, committees and special events. Please review the Board Member Roles & Responsibilities sheet. SBDC & BID Alliance Webinar - Restaurant Revitalization Fund - May 13th 4-5pm

Remembering David Martin
We are all saddened to announce the passing of Dave Martin, long time business owner in Ocean Beach and member of the OB MainStreet Association Board of Directors since 2007. Dave will be greatly missed. He was a thoughtful and outspoken volunteer for our organization and also for so many other local organizations. His generosity of time, expertise, and energy was legendary. He was almost always the calmest person in the room which is a great asset on a Board of Directors.

GRANT MONEY AVAILABLE FOR BUSINESSES TO BUILD ADA COMPLIANT DECKS AND PLATFORMS UNDER OUTDOOR BUSINESS OPERATION GUIDELINES SAN DIEGO – In an effort to improve accessibility and support businesses dealing with the economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, the City of San Diego is now offering $3,000 grants to help build decks and platforms that comply with standards outlined in the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
