Vignettes, the vintage home décor shop on Newport Avenue is proud to be turning 30 and is currently counting down to their grand Anniversary EVENT on September 20th where the shop will be transformed into a magical rococo setting with floral displays, French champagne, bon bons and also, will feature best-selling author, Courtney Allison, with her latest book that’s hot off the presses, “In Bloom” - that transports readers into a floral fantasy world.
After 3 decades, “Our love and passion for sourcing all things vintage, timeworn, repurposed and unique - is stronger than ever. When we opened in 1995, we were half the size we are now and looking for a way to stand out in the vintage world.
We opted to rely on our strengths and started by creating curated scenes and artful vignettes that weren’t the typical, old school mall look.
Over the years, the shop has become a hub of the best of the best, the crème de la crème of designers, artist, craftsmen, inventors and creatives - a group of the most talented people in the business today, who all share a deep passion for vintage, for breathing new life into each and every one of their projects, for seeing things no one else sees, for giving second chances to the discarded and finding beauty in the imperfect - for restoring wonder to the forgotten and doing it all with the utmost creativity and flair. “That’s how the magic happened over 30 years and that’s who we are,” states Chandler.
