We are all so grateful to everyone who participated in the 2017 Ocean Beach Street Fair and Chili Cook-Off Festival. Ocean Beach is an incredibly generous community – did you know over 200 volunteers pitch in on the day of the event? In addition to the day-of volunteering, we also have community members who contribute the use of their parking lots for the event, without which it would not be possible for us to pull this off. Our partners at Ocean Beach Town Council do a wonderful job running the Chili Cook-Off portion of the event. We also have a team of dedicated committee members who start working on the Street Fair early in the year. Many of the folks on our committee have been part of the street fair for 5, 10, 20, or even 38 years! It truly takes a village to make this event happen.
