If you are a business providing an essential service, as defined by Governor Newsom’s Executive Order, and you are currently OPEN, please review updates below:
SOCIAL DISTANCING AND SANITATION PROTOCOL:
- Prepare and post your business’ “Social Distancing and Sanitation Protocol” at/near the entrance of any applicable facilities no later than 12:00 AM on Tuesday, April 7th
- A copy of this protocol must also be provided to each employee performing work in an applicable facility
FACIAL COVERING RECOMMENDATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Effective 12:00 AM on Saturday, April 4, all employees working at entities within the five categories listed below who may have contact with the public are required to wear a cloth face covering:
Cloth face coverings are strongly recommended for the general public, but there is no legal mandate for the general public at this time. Cloth face coverings are distinct and different from medical masks; they are not medical grade.
A cloth face covering:
- is a material that covers the nose and mouth
- can be secured to the head with ties or straps or simply wrapped around the lower face
- can be improvised from household items, such as bandanas, cloth napkins, scarves, t-shirts, sweatshirts, or towels
CLOSURE OF PARKING LOTS AT PUBLIC PARKS & RECREATION AREAS
- These parking lots shall be closed to lessen gatherings
- These areas shall be used solely for walking, hiking, equestrian, or bicycle riding
- Public shall not congregate or participate in active sport activities
