Several community groups came together over the weekend to host a public safety appreciation bbq. Members of the San Diego Police Department, Fire Department and the Lifeguards enjoyed a picnic lunch on the lawn at the foot of Newport Ave. People enjoyed a great lunch, games and beautiful weather. Thanks to Councilman Ed Harris for joining us in thanking those that play such a crucial role in public safety in our community. The event was co-sponsored by the OB MainStreet Association, the OB Town Council and the OB Community Development Corporation.
