Formed in January 2013, The Matt Smith Neu Jazz Trio has jumped musical leaps and bounds to find music that makes them all proud. The songs on their CD "Shorthanded" are compositions of drummer/trombonist Matt Smith. These rhythmically free and melodically driven compositions highlight the very essence of a young trio with overwhelming maturity.
