The Ocean Beach MainStreet Association will ‘Celebrate the OB Vibe’ on Saturday, June 26, 2021 with a community event featuring local artisans & makers and spotlighting Ocean Beach’s local bars, breweries, restaurants, and retailers.
This community event will take place throughout the business districts in OB from 10am to 6pm. The Ocean Beach MainStreet Association anticipates this event will encourage people to shop local and support OB businesses, while enjoying an array of activities throughout the day including:

Art by the Pier - Artisans and Makers Fair
Art by the Pier vendor area is located within the Celebrate the OB Vibe event dedicated to showcasing handmade arts and crafts by independent artisans and makers only.
Art at the Park & Information Booth
Located in the Veteran's Plaza park grassy area. Featuring Rock & Roll San Diego and community booths. Along with OBMA information and merchandise booth. Enjoy the sounds of eight local bands, who are all eager to play for the community they love.
Children's Creative Corner and Family Fun Zone
Located at Saratoga Park there will be Artists Outpost canvas painting classes, Rad Hatter, family fun area, games (mini golf and cornhole), kite making, and indo board lessons.
Kids can create their unique Rad Bag Hats at Children’s Creative Corner. Just step up to the Hat Bar to decorate their festive memento using embellishments including ribbon, glitter, feathers, beads, recycled items, and so much more. Entertaining and engaging, the process of making Rad Hats is just as fun as what happens next: wearing them!
OB Vibe Collaborative Pale Ale
Lightly hopped pale ale with citrus & tropical notes. Celebrate the OB Vibe with a collaborative brew made possible by OB Brewry, Hodad's, Pizza Port, Kilowatt, California Wild Ales and NOVO.
Enjoy an OB Vibe Pale Ale at OB Brewery and select breweries throughout Ocean Beach.
OB 5K Race at your own pace
The OB 5K is a 3.1-mile virtual race in which participants have the option to run or walk the five-kilometer distance on the treadmill, sidewalk, trail, beach or anywhere you like. You can upload photos from before, during, or after your virtual run or walk by using the #obvibe. Funds raised through the 5K will benefit the Ocean Beach MainStreet Association’s Friends of OB program. Participants are part of the change they want to see in OB, support our mission and programs while enjoying our beautiful community through a 5K run or walk.
