OBMA Associate Member Application

 

Please fill out all information that is applicable. If you prefer to print out the OBMA Application form and mail it in (See the attachment at the bottom of this page).

OBMA Membership Dues
Once you have completed and finished submitting your application you will be redirected to our shopping cart where you may pay your annual OBMA Membership Dues ($70) online with a valid credit card. If you prefer to mail in your payment you will receive instructions on how to do so.
BID Info
FOR BID MEMBERS (BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT) :
If a business is located with the BID boundaries, they are assessed a fee when they renew their business license each year. That fee is the OBMA membership fee for that business and no additional monies are necessary. (See the attachment at the bottom of this page).
FOR ASSOCIATE MEMBERS (NON-BID MEMBERS): Your business can apply to be an Associate Member. Here are the rules:
  1. Have a business located in 92107 OR
  2. Live in Ocean Beach and operate a business (not located in Ocean Beach) that does 50% of their business in Ocean Beach
  3. Have a business in 92110 or 92106 with at least 50% of their business focused on serving Ocean Beach.
A few exceptions are made based on circumstances. If you do not fall into one of these categories, please contact the OBMA office at 619-224-4906.
Business Information
Example: "www.yourbusiness.com". DO NOT include the "http://" in the beginning, this will be inserted for you.
You must have an email address in order to apply online. If you do not have an email but you would like to apply online you can use "noemail@oceanbeachsandiego.com" otherwise you can print out the attached form listed at the bottom of this page.
OBMA Online Access
Would you like online access via the OBMA Web site so you can...
  • Gain access to tools & resources that help you promote your business
  • Update/Edit your OBMA Member Information?
  • Subscribe to email newsletter, news briefs and local business warnings?
  • Manager your OBMA Web site advertising Campaigns?
All you need to do is enter a unique username below. Yep, that's it! (=
Please do your best to create a unique username that is between 6 to 8 characters.
Email List(s)
This option will discontinue your print copy and send a PDF version to your email.
The Email Warning List is used if there is a crime spree in the area or if there is urgent information that needs to go out to the membership.

Business Directory
What information would you like listed in the OBMA Business Directory?
If you would like to be listed in the OBMA Business Directory select Yes.
If you select "Yes" your email address will be listed in the directory.
If you select "Yes" your business address will be listed in the directory.
Business Category
The category you select is the category your business will be listed under in the OBMA Business Directory. If you do not see a category for your business please contact us and we will be glad to assist you.
